Spring Is Here! (Spring Clocks Forward)

Richard and I have been working in the yard this past weekend trying to get it ready for some flowers and bulbs to be planted this coming weekend. It's hard for me to believe that Easter is almost here. I'm still trying to get used to the time change to "Daylight Savings Time". What is that for anyway? We still only have 24 hours in a day - nothings changed there. We still have to get the same things done within that 24-hour period. How can one save time unless you find a way to get more time? I just wished they'd leave the darn time thing alone, once and for all!

We're planting an English garden down the side of our driveway and 56 dwarf gladiolus next to that, so we should have flowers blooming most of the summer. I'm also going to plant 24 day lilies of various colors. Once these things start growing, I'll be posting the pictures - or not, if they don't materialize. Wish me luck!
